Refund Policy
Part D — Refund Policy
D.1 Our approach
We want you to feel confident in your decision to enrol in a Course. This Refund Policy explains when a refund is available, and operates alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which are not affected by this policy.
D.2 Change of mind
We want it to be easy, not hard, for you to get a refund if you decide a Course isn't right for you.
If you have purchased a Course but not yet accessed any Content, you may request a full change-of-mind refund within 7 days of purchase by contacting us at hello@respondersfirstaustralia.com.au.
If you have already started a Course and decide it isn't for you, contact us anyway — we would rather discuss a fair outcome with you than have you keep something that isn't working for you. Depending on how much of the Course you have accessed, this may include a full or partial refund. See also clause C.6, which allows RFA to offer a pro-rata refund where a Course is suspended or ended for suitability reasons.
D.3 Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a Course is not delivered with acceptable care and skill, is not reasonably fit for the purpose for which online educational courses of this kind are commonly acquired, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee that cannot be excluded, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of this policy.
D.4 How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact us at hello@respondersfirstaustralia.com.au with your order details and the reason for your request. We will assess each request individually and respond within a reasonable time. We may request further information reasonably required to assess your request.
D.5 Organisational Purchases
Where a Course is purchased by an Organisational Purchaser, any refund rights will be governed by the applicable enterprise licensing agreement or other written agreement between the parties.
